Our Team
Ritsuko
For more than 20 years, Ritsuko has brought people together through her cooking parties in Japan and the U.S. Her time in America sparked a deep joy in sharing traditional Japanese cuisine and culture with new friends. For Ritsuko, sharing a meal is more than just cooking; it's a powerful way to connect with others.
Miki
Miki has been a hairdresser and kimono dresser for over 30 years. She can teach you the traditional way to wear a kimono as she dresses you. She is also a people person, and her thoughtful nature ensures everyone she spends time with has a wonderful experience. And she is currently studying English like crazy to be able to talk with you!
Paul
Since all of the experiences will take place in our home, Ritsuko's husband, Paul, will usually be around to chat, answer questions about life in Hokkaido, and share his stories with you as an American coming to and living in Japan for over 20 years.
